Montserrat’s only stretch of white sand, Rendezvous Beach rewards those willing to hike or boat here. Relax and recline beneath towering cliffs, where numerous tropical birds circle and call. Sunbathe, swim, or snorkel, and bask in the isolated atmosphere with views out to Redonda and distant Nevis. Hikers will need to trek a steep path to the shore, 45 minutes each way. The beach is facility-free, so bring food and drinks with yourself.   I tried to hike here, by following the "trail" behind the ferry terminal, but the path was so overgrown with weeds & thorns it was difficult to follow. I ended up running out of time and had to turn back. It looked beautiful from the top looking down, though! I've read that it can be accessed by boat. I'm sure it is pristine since it is so difficult to access!
