Formerly a sleepy fishing village, the beach resort town of Kuta now represents one of Indonesia's most popular tourist destinations.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Tanah Lot Temple and Uluwatu Temple. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Jimbaran Bay and Nacivet Art Gallery. A snaking coastline and quaint, sleepy fishing villages characterize Amed, a stretch of shorefront with seven villages in Bali's east.
Start off your visit on the 21st (Sun): see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, then indulge your taste buds at Two Eka Waroeng, and then stroll through Jemeluk Beach. Keep things going the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at White Sand Beach Yoga and then see the vivid underwater world at USS Liberty Shipwreck.
