Ploiești is the county seat of Prahova County and lies in the historical region of Wallachia in Romania. Get some historical perspective at Cathedral of Ploiesti and Manastirea Dealu. The Clock Museum and Serve Winery are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Tiriac Collection (in Otopeni), Mogosoaia (Mogosoaia Palace & Autocross Arena) and LacertA Winery (in Buzau). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Marea Sinagoga, explore the ancient world of Chindiei Tower (Sunset Tower), pause for some serene contemplation at Biserica Trei Lerarhi, and admire the striking features of Princely Church.

Busteni

Bușteni is a small mountain town in the north of Prahova County, in central Romania. Bran Castle (Dracula's Castle) and Rasnov Citadel are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Popular historic sites such as Peles Castle and Cantacuzino Castle are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Busteni: Ialomicioara Monastery and Cave (in Sinaia) and Moroeni (Lalomita Cave & Bucegi Plateau). Curtea de Argeș is a city in Romania on the right bank of the Argeş River, where it flows through a valley of the lower Carpathians (the Făgăraș Mountains), on the railway from Pitești to the Turnu Roșu Pass. Mănăstirea Curtea de Argeș and Avincis - Vila Dobrusa Vineyard are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get some historical perspective at Cetatea Poienari and Princely Church of St Nicholas. Explore Curtea de Arges' surroundings by going to Anton Pann Memorial House (in Ramnicu Valcea), Stefanesti (Vila Florica - CENTRUL DE CULTURA ,,BRATIANU" & Muzeul Viticulturii si Pomiculturii Golesti) and Trovanti Museum Natural Reserve (in Costesti). Next up on the itinerary: cruise along Transfagarasan Highway, have fun at Centrul Sportiv Ceramus, take in the spiritual surroundings of Biserica Horezu, and pause for some serene contemplation at The wooden church of Horea.
