City of Angels

Enjoy cultural, historical, and culinary exploration during your holiday in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand and the most populous city in the country.
Get some historical perspective at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Snake Farm (Queen Saovabha Memorial Institute) and Adrenaline & Extreme Tours. Get out of town with these interesting Bangkok side-trips: Ayutthaya (Wat Phra Ram, Wat Maha That, &more), Phetchaburi (Tham Khao Luang Cave & Wat Koi) and Wat Phra Pathom Chedi (in Nakhon Pathom). Spend the 6th (Mon) exploring nature at Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex. There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of The Grand Palace, don't miss a visit to Wat Pho, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram, and browse the eclectic array of goods at Chatuchak Flower Market.
