End of the World

Often called the "End of the World" because of its position on the southernmost tip of South America, the expanding city of Ushuaia serves as both a busy commercial port and attractive tourist hub.
Visit Museo Maritimo & del Presidio de Ushuaia and Estancia Harberton for their historical value. Do some cultural sightseeing at Museo del Fin del Mundo and Acatushun Museum. Step out of Ushuaia to go to Tolhuin and see Cerro Jeujepen, which is approximately 1h 25 min away. Spend the 5th (Sun) exploring nature at Tierra del Fuego National Park. Spend the 7th (Tue) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. The adventure continues: explore the activities along Canal Beagle, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Glacier Martial, kick back and relax at Playa Larga, and stroll through Cerro Alarken Nature Reserve.

To find more things to do, other places to visit, ratings, and other tourist information, use the Ushuaia trip itinerary maker site.

In January, daytime highs in Ushuaia are 15°C, while nighttime lows are 7°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
