A medieval settlement on the island of Rhodes, Lindos provides a mix of ancient history and modern attractions. Home to less than 4,000 inhabitants who are greatly outnumbered by foreign visitors at the height of tourist season, the small town remains most famous for its age-old acropolis, perched on top of a prominent cypress-covered hill.
