Create an itinerary including Mývatn Nature Baths
Soak inside or out at Mývatn Nature Baths. A warm natural lagoon maintains a temperature of 35-40 C (95-104 F). Inside you can take an even hotter steam bath, which uses geothermal steam that rises through holes in the floor. If you get too hot, you'll find cold showers outside. Relax with a back, foot, or full-body massage, in the massage room or out by the lagoon. Often chosen as an alternative to the Blue Lagoon, these hot springs attract fewer tourists and are less expensive. • Visited as part of a tour. Food in cafe was good. The baths are amazing. A cool blue colour and a lovely temperature naturally heated. On our visit it wasn't to busy which was an added bonus. There...

  • This is our 4th hour spring in Iceland. Didn't love it. Water isn't as hot as other places. Despite expensive cost, no towel, no bathing suit dryer, and they were mean about bringing your own...

  • This was amazing! Loved this location. Beautiful water. Nice and calm location. Loved the drink locations but it would be great if you could easily get more drinks. I love their saunas and it was great that they rented towels and bathing suits.
  • I frankly loved it. I went to Blue Lagoon several years ago and I’d say skip that and come here. Great hospitality and features, lovely location. Was not too crowded at all during my June visit.
