Founded in the 10th century as a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen has morphed into the cultural, political, and economic powerhouse of the country.Visit Frederiksborg Slotskirke and Vejby Kirke for their historical value. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Kayaking & Canoeing and Gudmindrup Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Copenhagen side-trips: Nordsjaellands Kattegatkyst (in Hundested), Havtyren (The Sea Bull) (in Liseleje) and Koege Torv (in Koege).
