The world's largest urban zoo, Bronx Zoo displays more than 650 different species from across the globe--about 6,000 animals in total. The 107 hectare (265 acre) park features numerous sections and regional themes, including Wild Asia, Madagascar, African Plains, the World of Monkeys, and Tiger Mountain. You'll find a colony of critically endangered western lowland gorillas in their jungle habitat in the Congo Gorilla Forest, which showcases the zoo's commitment to conservation and provides residents with spacious outdoor enclosures. Enjoy taking pictures all day, lots of beautiful animals, the staff very attentive. The area was very clean. The Food area great. The only thing was the parking to expensive $20.00.

What a gorgeous zoo. The animal enclosures are done so well and the animals look like they have space and appropriate enrichment activities.

Probably the best zoo in all of New York City. You will always have a great time here. Parking is a bit expensive, but its worth it! It helps you discover different animals and it is calm and enjoyable. It is a fun experience when you are bored. The shop is great here. Good prices. There is many seating areas and transit. Overall, I would give this a fresh 10/10. Recommend it.

The Bronx Zoo was awesome. The staff members were friendly and very knowledgeable about everything. There's lots of animals to see and the sea lions were really fun to watch. The Dancing Crane restaurant serves really good family friendly food(like pizza, chicken strips, hamburgers and other food that's good for picky little eaters). Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes since you'll be walking around for hours. I highly recommend this zoo to everyone living in NYC or if you're only here for a visit.
